Trusting in the Waiting

I have Psalms open, and it is staring right back. I am completely stuck at Psalms 23:1. “The Lord is my shepherd; I have what I need.” I don’t know how many times I have read those ten words this morning. I have what I need. What I need, I have. He is guiding me. He is directing me.

If I believe that I have what I need then I must also believe that if I don’t have something I am waiting for, it’s because it’s not my time for it.

It’s kinda hard to type that, say that, believe that… Believe that since we don’t have ___________, it’s just not quite our time. But I know his timing is different from ours. And I know he’s never late.

Fill in the blank. What are you longing for? Waiting and waiting for? Trusting that God is working out even while your heart feels like it’s breaking..

What would your blank be filled with?

I am reminded of Philippians 1:6 that assures us that no matter what we are waiting for, “God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.”

Trust Him for your blank. He won’t stop working.

  1. So much of the time when we’re waiting and thinking that God’s not doing anything, He’s been at work the whole time preparing what we’ve been waiting for. He will unfold everything in accordance with His perfect timing and His perfect will for our lives, and the wait will be worth it❣️🌈❤️🙏🌻
